Three of humanity’s greatest thinkers — separated by centuries — arrived at the same conclusion.

Pillar I · Plato · 428–348 BC

Soul &
Recollection

“Knowledge is recollection”

Have you ever felt that you know something without being able to explain how? Plato had answered this question 2,400 years ago.

In Meno and Phaedo he develops one of the most daring ideas in Western philosophy: knowledge is not acquired — it is recollected. Before entering the body, the soul has known the world of Ideas — absolute reality. Birth is forgetting. What we experience as intuition or sudden “knowing” is the moment the soul recovers what it already knew.

What we believe we “learn” in this life,
we are in fact remembering.

The one thing we have said about the soul is that it is the most ancient and most divine of all things.

— Plato, Laws 966 D-E

Pillar II · Iamblichus · 245–325 AD

The Mantic
Art

“Divination is set free”

Have you ever wondered why you sometimes “know” something before you have thought it through? Why a decision that seems irrational turns out to be the right one? Iamblichus, a third-century philosopher, had an answer.

In his work On the Mysteries of the Egyptians he argues that divination is not an art that is taught — it is something that is set free. When the soul slips loose from the bonds of the conscious mind, it receives knowledge without limits of time. The shuffling of the cards is not chance — it is the act that opens this gate.

Divination does not belong to a chosen few.
It belongs to all — provided we let go.

Pillar III · Carl Gustav Jung · 1875–1961

Unconscious
& Archetypes

“The unwritten history of humanity”

Have you ever acted on instinct and wondered where the impulse came from? Carl Gustav Jung, one of the most influential psychologists of the twentieth century, devoted his life to that very question.

For Jung, the unconscious is not merely a storehouse of forgotten memories — it is something far greater. “The unwritten history of humanity,” as he called it. Older than consciousness, richer and deeper. The archetypes that live within us — the Hero, the Mother, the Sage — are the same as the gods the ancient Greeks honored.

When you draw a card, you are not guessing.
You are letting your unconscious speak.

The unconscious knows

Separated by centuries and cultures, Plato, Iamblichus, and Jung arrived at the same fundamental conclusion: within every human being lies a deeper knowledge — older than reason, more ancient than the self. The soul, the unconscious, the mantic faculty — different words for the same thing.

The Pythia Pili cards were created precisely to open this gate — through the power of the ancient Greek alphabet, the Olympian gods, and Pythagorean numerology.

“When a person learns to trust what the unconscious tells them,
they can become the prophet of their own life.” — Chrysoula Kefala
